Who we are

Complex ownership.
A deeply human problem.

Behind every unresolved property file is a family, a home, or a piece of land with a history. We’re developing technology and providing research to help the people working toward its next chapter.

Our mission

Our mission is to make heirs' property resolution more accessible, efficient, and reliable.

We equip families and the legal, title, and community professionals who serve them with trusted technology that organizes complex heirship information, streamlines critical workflows, and coordinates access to the qualified services needed to move each matter toward resolution.

Erick Drobinski

Founder & CEO

Erick Drobinski is a Dallas-based attorney and the founder of Heir Apparent. His work with families and community partners revealed how fragmented records, incomplete family histories, and manual processes can stall inherited-property matters.

He built Heir Apparent to help attorneys, title professionals, and community organizations move that work forward. Drawing on his background in law, technology, and operations, Erick leads product strategy and design partnerships, with a focus on making research and review more manageable for the professionals families rely on.
