Who is Heir Apparent for?
We’re developing technology with input from title agencies, underwriters, attorneys, legal clinics, and community partners. Our separate reporting service supports professionals researching and reviewing heirs’ property matters.
Is the platform available?
The platform is in development, and we’re recruiting design partners to help refine it. A conversation can include a walkthrough of the current tools and a discussion of what is still being developed. Any pilot access is scoped and agreed separately.
What does a design partnership involve?
Participation may include workflow discussions, demonstrations, feedback, and a scoped pilot where appropriate. We agree on the scope, responsibilities, time commitment, and terms together.
Can I request a report without becoming a design partner?
Yes. Heirship Diligence Reports are a separate service, and we’re accepting inquiries. We confirm research scope, fees, and timing before work begins. Platform adoption or design-partner participation is not required.
What is the difference between the two offerings?
Design partners help us evaluate and refine technology for their teams’ workflows. For a report engagement, Heir Apparent researches agreed questions and prepares a report for professional review.
Where are you focusing?
Our current focus is Texas. Organizations in other states can register interest so we can understand their workflows and discuss future availability.
How are engagements scoped?
A design partnership depends on the workflow, evaluation goals, and level of participation we agree together. Any pilot access, support, fees, and timing are defined separately. A report engagement is scoped around the file and research questions.
Does Heir Apparent replace the attorney or underwriter?
No. Research findings, ownership scenarios, and draft materials require professional review. Licensed professionals remain responsible for legal advice, document approval, and underwriting decisions.
